Introduction -
Respiratory System Consist of
- Nose
- Pharynx ( Throat )
- Larynx ( Voice Box )
- Trachea ( Wind Pipe )
- Bronchi
- Bronchioles
- Lungs
- Diaphragm.

Structurally Respiratory System Consist of 2 Parts :-

(1). Upper Respiratory System -
It Include
- Nose
- Pharynx
- And Associated Structure.

(2). Lower Respiratory System -
It Include
- Larynx
- Trachea
- Bronchi
- Bronchioles
- Lungs
- Diaphragm.

Functionally The Respiratory System Consist of 2 Part :-

(1). Conducting / Dead Portion -
It Include
- Nose
- Pharynx
- Larynx
- Trachea
- Bronchi
- Bronchioles.
It Filter,Moist,Warm & Conduct Air Into The Lungs.
Total Volume of Air In Dead Space 150ml.

(2). Respiratory Portion -
It Include
- Respiratory Bronchioles
- Alveolar Duct
- Alveolar Sac & Alveoli.
It Is Portion of Respiratory System Where Gas Exchange Occur.
Total Volume of Air In Respiratory Portion Is 5-6 Liters.
